STAR TOWN CENTER
Albertsons has joined Retail West Properties in the development of Star Town Center, a 23- acre grocery-anchored retail and commercial project on State Highway 44 (State Street) and Highbrook Way in Star, Idaho. The site has been annexed into the City with C-2 Zoning. Beyond some shared infrastructure, Albertsons and Retail West are developing their respective 11.5 and 12.5-acre sites independently, subject to CC&R’s and a Development Agreement. Albertsons opened for business Spring 2022 and is doing extremely well. Shops and pads are under construction including Mod Pizza, Café Rio, US Bank and Heartland Dental.
Surplus R-7 land within the project area, north of the C-2 zone was partially developed in 2020 as Endsley Court, a 34-lot single family neighborhood which is now complete. Endsley Court residents enjoy generous common area, pressurized irrigation and short walking access to Albertsons and Star Town Center. The remainder of the residential land received Preliminary Plat approval in September 2022 for Addington, a 32 unit townhome project.
